Program Proposals
-
One Heath Certificate, #783 – New Undergraduate Certificate
-
Is there concern about a professional school offering an undergraduate program? Academic Affairs was a liaison.
-
Curriculum Management reviewed the program.
-
The deans and the department heads have reviewed these and it looks like they are using some existing FTE.
-
The budget is fairly bare bones, but the scope is narrower.
-
Seems to be a desirable program.
-
Does not look like the department show the math on the revenue, but the total did seem to be included in the narrative. Mary did not think this was a necessary inclusion as the overall numbers seem very solid.
-
Brent Gustafson noted that the College of Veterinary Medicine would get revenue through the budget model.
-
Equitable to similar programs at other institutions.

-
Water Resources Engineering, #851 – New Graduate Certificate
-
The certificate includes new courses, Ecampus component and would require administrative support.
-
The budget narrative had extensive details.
-
Enrollment is aggressive, but with the marketing, that feels like the correct move.
-
Other institutions have this program, and it is well received by students.
