  • CH 464 (WIC)
    • The syllabus is lacking the verbatim WIC outcomes.
    • Based on the provided table, they are not revising 2,000 words.
    • The assessment table has been cut and pasted and one of the outcomes was left blank.
    • The syllabus has 3 pages of student learning outcomes.
    • The Honors course uses the exact same syllabus.
      • Decertify and suggest the originator work extensively with the WIC director to make changes.

    • The student learning outcomes are posted twice and the syllabus is missing the class schedule.
      • Approve with a letter to the originator to add the class schedule and fix other errors.

    • The course is supposed to be listed as an SPI course, but it seems to have been listed as Western Culture, instead.
    • The student learning outcomes need to be more explicit on the syllabus. They are currently very difficult to locate on the syllabus

    • The verbatim Baccalaureate Core (BC) statement is present on the syllabus, but the BC learning outcomes are combined with the course specific outcomes.
      • The outcomes need to be separated. The originator was told to highlight only the relevant parts, but that change was not made.
    • The alignments are also vague and need to be made more clear on the syllabus
    • The department is looking to possibly offer this as an Ecampus course but no Ecampus syllabus was provided.
